Our company, thanks to its know-how and high standards, stands out for the silage quality it offers to the Greek breeder for the feeding of his animals. The raw material used in our silage is equal to its high nutritional value. The selection of maize varieties is based on the rich foliage and the high fruit yield, ensuring the excellent quality of SIOUTIS S.A. final product.
HIGH QUALITY
Silage standardization is carried out using special advanced mechanical equipment. The product is hermetically sealed with maximum compression, in a vacuum and in specialized 25 kg plastic bags. The anaerobic condition of our silage, compared to that of natural drying, offers the farmer the advantage of limiting the use of concentrated feed, due to the better preservation of important nutrients.
The silage practices we apply and the result found by the breeders have placed us in the first place in domestic marketing and handling and export activity. In our development framework, our continuous participation in research projects for new silage products and techniques occupies an important part of our company’s action field.
